Objective

The students have deepened their skills in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing as part of the holistic treatment of patients. They are trained in rehabilitative and health-promoting nursing practice with patients who suffer from the common health problems of the population.

Content

Guided practical training in different units of health care; nurse and public health nurse students in the unit of surgery; midwife students in home nursing.

Qualifications

The students master the central clinical nursing procedures and related basic technology. They have a basic ability to plan, implement and evaluate health promotion. They know the basics of human anatomy and physiology, and the central clinical laboratory and radiological tests. They understand the basics of the most common groups of medicines and the effects of medicines. They master the nursing interventions essential, in particular, in the nursing of elderly patients.

Assessment by the guiding nurse and student's self-evaluation, written assignment
