You have the basic skills to promote health, function and well-being of individuals and families, and to plan, implement and evaluate nursing / gerontological nursing. You master the basics of communication and interaction.

Objective
Purpose of the course
After completing the course, you will be able to plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based care, services and counselling in nursing home environments as a member of a multiprofessional team

You are able to support and promote the good life, health and functional capacity of individuals and families in diverse and nursing home environments. You plan, implement and evaluate a safe client-centred treatment/service and guidance in gerontological nursing. You will deepen your gerontological knowledge considering the client's environment. You will utilise evidence-based nursing research in making decisions and take responsibilities for your actions in an effective, ethical and professional manner. You are motivated to work in nursing home environments responding to the client's physical, psychological, social and existing needs holistically.
