Two afternoon lecture sessions on novel coatings. Two afternoon study visits to local companies. Two sessions on automation and robotics part.
Course workload equals 3 ECTS (81h).

Qualifications
Two-three year Bachelor degree studies at suitable degree program.
Content
The course content depends on the knowledge level of the participating students, but general themes include:
- Automation and Robotics technology studies, laboratory work in the robotics laboratory
- Materials science in mechanical engineering, surface coating with nucleaction (PVD – Physical Vapour Deposition) and continuous (ALD – Atomic Layer Deposition) technologies, measurement technologies and laboratory demos
Objective
The aim is to deepen your knowledge in JAMK’s two focus areas: Automation & Robotics and Applied Materials Science.
