Objective
Purpose of the course
In this course, you will learn the basics of the implementation process of the case management model from the planning and implementation of a goal-oriented individual guidance process that supports the client's participation and resources as well as the use of the rehabilitation counselling nomenclature as a basis for structured recording.

Intended learning of the course
Once you have completed this course, you will have learned how to use different guidance methods ethically and pro-actively and promote the rehabilitees’ capacity to work and function as well as their participation in various operating environments. You know how to coach a person to take responsibility of their own rehabilitation, how to coordinate services and guide the rehabilitees towards the appropriate services. You can provide advice, motivate, guide, teach and support them and their social network during the rehabilitation process.
You know how to critically assess your guidance work and develop it.
Content
The core contents of the study unit include the case management operating model, the theory of sociodynamic guidance and implementation of exercises in cooperation with actors and clients from the world of work. You will familiarise yourself with the use of the rehabilitation cunselling nomenclature as a basis for structured recording and learn the concepts and styles of learning and how to consider them the work of a rehabilitation counsellor.

You know the starting points for rehabilitation, are familiar with the rehabilitation service systems, actions and key legislation.
You are familiar with the forms of rehabilitation, actors in the field and groups of rehabilitees.
You know how to consult experts from other fields.
You know the starting points and the current situation of the rehabilitation counselling and planning.

Adequate 1. You can apply guidance methods in a rehabilitee-oriented manner and following the ethical principles of guidance, mastering basic knowledge in guidance situations with an individual.
You assess your rehabilitation counsellor work and guidance methods and are able to cooperate with the client.
Satisfactory 2. You can apply guidance methods in a rehabilitee-oriented manner and following the ethical principles of guidance in guidance situations with an individual.
You justify your solution based on experience.
