Objective

This course introduces you to evidence-based knowledge in the planning, implementation and evaluation of perioperative and acute nursing care.

Content

Perioperative nursing process and care path, acute care, medical technology related to patient safety, policies and legislation, drug- and fluid therapy, blood transfusion, wound care, acute pain management, infection prevention, culturally sensitive counseling

Qualifications

You master health promotion- and essential counseling methods, as well as medical nursing care, mental health-, addiction- and crisis nursing.
You know the basis of evidence-based decision making.
You master the contents of anatomy and physiology as well as pharmacology and medicine related to the above mentioned nursing studies.
