Objective

You familiarise yourself with the goals of music therapy and understand how to apply them at work, as part of cultural well-being. You know how to evaluate community based resource-oriented music activities and their therapeutic elements in the communities and operating environments of different customers and customer groups. You are able to apply music therapy methods and promote inclusion and participation when guiding different groups. You demonstrate a broad understanding of the well-being effects of music as a component of good life. You understand music education as an open, equal and lifelong learning opportunity for everyone.

Content

You will become familiar with music therapy methods in various operating environments and customer communities.
In this course, you will get to know and become aware of the importance of music as a support for well-being.
You will learn about and become aware of the culture of different groups and the principles of inclusion and participation in guidance.
