Objective

The students master the basics of strategic development and management by results and apply managerial accounting to them to support decision-making. They can apply the performance indicators supporting the implementation of strategies in their managerial work. They understand and can assess the different approaches of national and global accounting and the significance of reporting for the success of the work community. They master different analysis tools and new sources of internal and external information.

Content

The strategic development process, management by results, managerial accounting, development prospects, needs for experts in technology. The connection between financial management and customer relationship management. Product-specific cost accounting. Analysing cost-effectiveness. Capital management. Investment planning. Result planning. Identification of innovative development ideas for managerial reporting and the utilization of reports.
