Objective

The students know the operating culture of working life and are able to participate in the evaluation, coordination, development and management of the organization’s operations. They can define the goals, core competences and strategies of an organization, mastering the basics of networking and management accordingly. They can take responsibility for their own activities and are aware of the social responsibility of the organization. They can apply the values and principles of professional ethics to their work.

Content

The business process (mission, business idea, competitive advantage, goals, targets, significance of profit, etc.), the two sides of management, manager’s tasks (performance, profitability of work, social responsibility), organization and organizational models, an enterprise’s functions and targets; the basics of networking (e.g. introduction to networking, the basics of network and supply chain strategies, system suppliers, purchase, profitability, network cooperation, profit mechanisms). Business game.

The students know the basics of business activity.

Mastery of a multidisciplinary knowledge base and ability to critically assess knowledge in the area of expertise.
