Objective

The students understand the significance of competence management in the modern management of companies. They are familiar with the ways to develop and manage competence. They are able to assess competences of a group/department/team and identify the areas for developing. They can also assess competence management. They are able to reflect the results of assessments to requirements of future competence.

Content

Individual, team and organizational learning. Knowledge, skills, attitude and networks as a basis of professional competence. Tacit knowledge. Development discussions as part of competence management. Strategy-based examination of competence. Assessment of competence. Methods of developing competence.

Assessment is based on knowledge, skills and competence in accordance with the National and European Qualifications Framework, Level 6.The assessment criteria for individual courses are given in an annex to the implementation plan of the course
