Objective

The students master operations management and the organization of operational development projects.

Content

Operational strategy and management of change, product design and learning curves, process selection and design, the planning and controlling of supply chains, project production.
Separately the basics of networking.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Very good (4-5): The student masters the essential knowledge and skills required to get the grade Good (3) and can apply the knowledge acquired to practical work in a versatile, critical and innovative manner.
Good (3): The student masters the essential knowledge and skills: - can use the operations management tools and methods in the solution of a few isolated problems and in operations management according to the business goals of the company.
Satisfactory (1-2): The student is familiar with the basic concepts and terminology such as project management, process descriptions, layouts, SPC, capacity planning, overall planning of the sales and production, forecasts, inventory management, ERP, etc.

Assessment is based on the exam (50%) and the assignments (50%).
