Objective
The students understand the structure and operation of nervous and muscular systems, especially considering the mechanisms which are related to the origin, control and integration of motion. The students understand the structure and functioning of the general motion creating system.. The students can assess movement, posture, balance, functioning of upper limbs, coordination, articular and skeletal mobility as well as children’s perceptual motor coordination. The students have the ability to use technology while assessing patients movements functional ability and can make conclusions considering the promotion of functioning.
Content
Functioning and assessment of nervous and muscular joints and the motion creating system.
Mechanical and neural factors related to muscular power production. Assessment of kinetic and kinematic motion. Assessment of movement. Assessment of posture.
Balance and its assessment.
Assessment of fine motor coordination , functioning of upper limbs and coordination.. Assessment of the sense of touch. Assessment of children’s perception motor coordination. Assessment of articular and skeletal movement.
Qualifications
Anatomy and physiology parts 1 and 2 and assessment of functioning and work
capacity.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Excellent (5) and Very good (4)
The student possesses exact knowledge and has the basics for his/her actions.
The student actively participates in education and brings out own solutions. The practice work and reports are logical and present the basics in a comprehensive manner. The presentations of practice work are clear and fluent. In the skills test, the student demonstrates mastery of basic assessment and carries out the functionality assessment reliably and fluently. The student is able to analyze the customer's total activity and draw conclusions.
Good (3)
The student possesses good knowledge and is able to justify the main principles of his/her activities. The student actively participates in education. The practice work presents the basics, and the presentation of work is clear and fluent. In the skills test, the student shows mastery of basic assessment and carries out the functionality assessment reliably.
Satisfactory and Adequate (2-1)
The student's knowledge consists of loose but relevant details. Engagement in activities and manual work is unsure but logical. Drawing conclusions is inaccurate, but the idea has the correct bearings. The student has completed the tasks agreed in a way that is appropriate.
Fail (0)
The student's knowledge is lacking, and his/her actuation is illogical and unsure. The student is not capable of self-assessment. Practice work and reports are limited, and do not transpire familiarity with the subject matter.
