Objective

The students:
-can recognise the rehabilitation needs and expectations of customers/community and to adjust them with rehabilitation opportunities
- can observe and assess customers' coping and functionality in various operational environments exploiting various assessment methods and individual rehabilitation studies
- can consult experts of other fields.

Content

Contents formed of the opportunities of the practical training place, of the learning objectives of the course and of the objectives and career plans of the students.

Qualifications

The students have an extensive idea on the operation of rehabilitation service system and on related central legislation. The students know the operative forms, actors and customer groups of rehabilitation. They are familiar with the different assessment methods of functionality and operational environment.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Pass:The student has an integrated knowledge and insight of the rehabilitation process of the client and his/her work and physical abilities, as well as how his/her environmental factors effect them.
He/she has full knowledge of the basic facts of the relevant rehabilitation services and social security benefits available to the client concerned.
The theoretical understanding of the task is to be reflected in practical work.
He/she is capable of consulting specialists from other professionals’ fields.
He/she acts according to the legal parameters relating to client’s status and rights, and follows regulations relating to the client confidentially and ethical principles.
He/she is capable of co-operating and working together with the client, as well as his family, official and other professionals.
Integration is listening, understanding and empathetic as well as guiding and supporting.
