Objective

The student:
- is able to use project management tools to develop consumer services, while taking into account ethical and ecological viewpoints.
- can apply the newest research data in developing consumer services.
The course is an applied portion of course MMPC3110.
- can apply the principles of responsibility in developing consumer services.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The learning outcomes of a course will be assessed in accordance with its learning objectives on the basis of the skills and knowledge and general competences specified in The National and European Quality Management Systems (NQF/EQF, level 6).
1 (Sufficient)
•The student knows the principles and concepts of responsible business and services. He can also use the project work tools.
2 (Satisfactory)
In addition to the core competence required for grade 1, the student has a command of the skills listed below, and is also capable of making use of the skills learnt.
•The student is able to actively work in a project group.
•The student recognizes the most important administrative, economical and informative control methods of his own area
3 (Good)
In addition to the core competence required for grade 1-2, the student has a command of the skills listed below, and is also capable of making use of the skills learnt.
•The student is able to apply the responsibility principles and topical research knowledge for a development project.
•The student understands the significance of various means of environmental control for consumer services.
4 (Very Good)
In addition to the core competence required for grade 1-3, the student has a command of the skills listed below, and is also capable of making use of the skills learnt.
•The student demonstrates initiativity and responsibility in his own actions.
5 (Excellent)
In addition to the core competence required for grade 1-4, the student has a command of the skills listed below, and is also capable of applying the skills learnt in a critical and innovative way.
•When linking the theoretical knowledge and the development project the student demonstrates analytical and critical manners . He develops the project work and is able to reflect his own and the group’s work.
The grades will be lower if the assignments are returned after the deadlines.
Unless otherwise specified in the curriculum, successfully completed courses will be assessed using a five-point scale: 5 (Excellent), 4 (Very Good), 3 (Good), 2 (Satisfactory), and 1 (Sufficient). A course will be graded as a 0 (Fail) if the student is unable to achieve the minimum objectives of the course.
In special cases, a course may be graded as an S (Pass) or a 0 (Fail).
