Objective
In this course you learn play observation methods and the learning difficulties of children. You understand how to support child's participation in play through physical plays
You know the importance of play in supporting child's development and you can use the tools to observe, evaluate, instruct and support play in functional situations. You understand the diversity of children's learning disabilities and how it relates to their play skills.
You understand the possibilities of physical play to support child's participation in play

In the play observation assignment, you are able to combine observations from the observation situation with your child's age-appropriate play based on a few different perspectives and use concepts in a structured way.
