Objective
The student knows how to find relevant research knowledge and is capable of evaluating reference literature. He/she knows how to analyze the use of the most common research methodologies. The student understands the main differences between qualitative and quantitative research. He/she understands the principles of research ethics.
Content
Data and knowledge acquisition, evaluation of the reliability and credibility of research, source criticism. Recapitulation of the central contents of research frameworks. Key methodologies within applied research. Reliability, validity and credibility in research. Research ethics. The course contributes in creating skills for carrying out thesis work.
