Objective
The student is aware of the road map of low-carbon construction and understands the legislation and official regulations governing the environmental sustainability of construction. Students will be able to use tools and indicators in the circular economy and construction.
The student becomes acquainted with the tools used to asses the environmental performance of buildings, which can be used to verify and compare the environmental performance, sustainable development and circular economy of buildings.
Content
The most important themes of the course are the understanding of the legislation and authority guidance governing more environmentally friendly construction at a general level, the assessment of the sustainability classification of a construction project using the chosen method and the understanding of the principles of circular economics.
