Objective

The student is able to evaluate and develop service practices and service processes.
The student knows the national and international research and scientific literature in his own field of expertice and knows how to apply the scientific knowledge in developing services in his or hers own expertise.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Pass (1):
The student has not skills to take an advantage of the material raised by the training and the trainers. The student will develop his knowledge of the course learning objectives by the direction of the trainers. He writes the report according to the reporting guidelines. The student will carry out assignments late and his participation in the course is limited. Reflection and self-assessment are limited.

Satisfactory (2):
The student has the skills to take an advantage of the Finnish material raised by the training and the trainers. The student will achieve the learning outcomes of the course from the perspective of his own organization. The student writes a too narrow or too wide report. The student’s participation is not active, and he returns assignments late. The student is able only to a public reflection. Self-assessment is attached to the competencies of the course.

Good (3):
The student has the skills to take an advantage of the material raised by the training and the trainers, but the student is not very active. The student will demonstrate his ability to implement the course learning outcomes at the organizational level. The student is able to create a report. Students return their assignments on schedule. The student is able to exercise effective reflection, which focuses on the task. Self-assessment is attached to the competences and areas of development.

Excellent (4):
The student has the skills to take an advantage of the material raised by the training and the trainers. Student's activity in the field of international and current information is shown in their knowledge base. He's demonstrated ability to combine the learning outcomes of the course in development of his professional field. The student will be able to create almost a publishable report. The student returns his tasks on time, and he is actively participative. He is able to diverse reflections and highlights areas for development. The student is able to reflect his learning process and the development of competencies in this study period.

Excellent (5):
The student has the skills to take an advantage of the material raised by the training and the trainers. The student's expertise is shown in the management of international and current information. The student is able to combine learning outcomes of the course in development of their own field. The student is able to create a publishable report. The student returns his tasks on time, participates actively and gives his contribution to the group. The student is able to wide-ranging reflection, and highlights areas for development. The student's self-assessment is thorough and he presents solutions to development targets.
