Objective
Students are familiar with the structure of a computer,
components and peripherals and understand their purpose.
They know the most common desktop operating systems and can use them in many ways.
Students understand the basic principles networks and can use computer networks in many ways.
The students understand the whole package of information infrastructure and its importance in the organization.
They know different types of information systems and to understand their purpose, as well as of technical and administrative point of view.
Students are able to install and maintain network operating systems and are familiar with the most important commands/programs and management tools.
Students are able to use the services of network operating systems/servers.

o Excellent (5): The students know the concepts of computer hardware and the hardware operation principles.
They can use and administrate operating systems and know concepts of operating systems. The students have adequate capacity to update
course-related knowledge and skills independently.
The students are able to creatively apply the things learned in the course.
They are familiar with the basic structure of information systems, and the most typical types of information systems, and server operating systems.
Students are familiar with the servers/services for Linux/Unix and Windows platforms and know how to use and configure servers in many different ways.
They can solve server-related problems independently.
o Good (3-4): Students are familiar with computer hardware-related concepts and understand the operating principles of the hardware.
They know the basic operation principles of Windows and Linux operating systems
and are familiar with the basic operating systems-related concepts.
Students are able to apply the agenda of the course in accordance with the purpose and goal.
They are familiar with the basic structure of information systems, and the most typical types of information systems, and server operating systems.
Students are familiar with the servers/services for Linux/Unix and Windows platforms, and know how to use and configure them.
o Satisfactory (1-2): Students understand the concepts of computer hardware.
