Objective

The students
- know the implementation and significance of common client-side WWW technologies
- know the requirements of server-side implementation
- understand the restrictions of client-side implementation
- can apply their knowledge and skills both to designing and building WWW applications
- understand the basics of website design and can implement a WWW user interface using graphic elements (in Media Engineering)

- basic client-server technology
- HTML and XHTML versions
- (X)HTML validation
- CSS style sheet language
- basics of JavaScript
- design and realization of Web user interface

Excellent 5: The student masters very well the WWW client programming techniques and he (she) can creatively and innovatively apply these in his (hers) practical exercise.

Good 3: The student masters the essential WWW client programming techniques and can apply these in his (hers) practical exercise.
Satisfactory 2: The student knows the basic techniques of WWW client programming and their application in a simple practical exercise.
