Objective
The students
 •	can select and dimension the main measuring equipment used in process industry automation
 •	recognize emission measurements in industry as parts of environmental protection
 •	are able to determine the uncertainty of measurement according to EA-4/02 (European co-operation for  Accreditation: Expression of the Uncertainty of Measurement in Calibration)
 •	can read and interpret the calibration certificates of measuring equipment

continuous measuring of temperature, pressure, level and flow
 •	basics of electrochemistry: Nernst equation
 •	continuous analysis measurements
 •	emission measurements
 •	legislation related to metrology

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Very good (4-5): The student masters the industrial measuring methods and devices and can implement them in typical measuring applications.
 Good (3): The student masters the most important industrial measuring methods and devices.
 Satisfactory (1-2): The student is familiar with the basic knowledge and skills covered by the course.
