Objective

The students are able to design the electrification of an industrial process. They know the issues to be taken into consideration in purchasing plans. They are able to design and draw main diagrams and placement and cabling schemes. They are able to design the earthing arrangement and potential equalisation of a system. Apart from process electrification, the students are able to design lighting, auxiliary systems, safety systems, heat tracing for safety systems, and instrumentation electrification.
