Objective

The student understands the different customer's rehabilitation processes and his/her own professional role in it. S/he can make a rehabilitation plan for an individual/group in accordance with good planning practice together with the customer/customers and a multi-professional team.
The student is able to find out the benefits and social security related to a customer's rehabilitation as well as legislation related to rehabilitation. S/he can document and act in the communicational situations of his/her field.

Content

Rehabilitation as an administrative and individual process. The principles and criteria of planning a good rehabilitation process. The rehabilitation process of different age groups and different kinds of customers in need of rehabilitation. The structure, contents and implementation of a rehabilitation plan as well as follow-up and assessment of implementation. Multi-professionalism and customer-orientation in planning rehabilitation. Rehabilitation motivation. The financial benefits of rehabilitation customers.

Qualifications

The student understands what rehabilitation is and knows the most general concepts of rehabilitation as well as the service systems and operational areas of rehabilitation in general.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Excellent 5: The student draws up, in the many vocational teams of the rehabilitator-oriented, realistic and comprehensive rehabilitation plan. The student justifies the rehabilitation plan critically and utilising wide source material. The student estimates rehabilitating processes of the different authoritatively and the expert role of his own field in them.
Very good 4: The student draws up a realistic and comprehensive rehabilitation plan in many vocational teams. The student justifies the rehabilitation plan utilising wide source material. The student estimates rehabilitating processes of the different rehabilitators authoritatively and the expert role of his own field in them.
Good 3: The student controls the information of the study module comprehensively. He draws up a realistic rehabilitation plan and justifies it theoretically. The student estimates rehabilitating processes of the different rehabilitators and the expert role of his own field in them. Poor 2: The student draws up the rehabilitation plan and justifies it theoretically. The student estimates rehabilitating processes of the different rehabilitators.
Fair 1: The student draws up the rehabilitation plan and controls the basic information of the study module. The student perceives rehabilitating processes of the different rehabilitators.
