Objective
The student
- knows the professional nd ethical developments and reflect on these in relation to his/her own professional and ethical practice
- knows frameworks of professional growth and social ethics and reflects his/her own professional and ethical growth with the help of them

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Very good (4) and Excellent (5)
The student has acquired an extensive knowledge of socio-cultural and multicultural work in social services, and he/she actively acquires more in-depth and broad ranging information showing critical comprehension. He/she is able to critically and creatively link theoretical starting points to professional operative approaches. As a result of hands-on work and critical thinking, the student is committed to the professional and ethical objectives of social services, and based on this is able to assess their own actions and the operations of service systems in a versatile analytical manner. He/she has read the literature assigned for the course and acquired further information independently. The student follows current social dialogue and is able to critically analyse this. Utilising his/her multidisciplinary expertise he/she is able to solve complex problems that may arise in their profession in an ethically sustainable manner. The student is able to critically and creatively assess his/her professional growth and set development targets. He/she actively participates in contact teaching, virtual studies and study visits and encourages other students.

The student has a good command of the basic information on socio-cultural and multicultural work and is able to formulate his/her own theoretical approach to socio-cultural and multicultural work. As a result of hands-on work the student is committed to the professional and ethical objectives of social services, and based on this is able to assess their own actions and the operations of service systems. He/she has read the literature assigned for the course and follows current social dialogue in his/her area of responsibility. The student is interested in developing the position held by Bachelors of Social Services through multidisciplinary work and He/she is able to solve problems that may arise in their profession in an ethically sustainable manner while cooperating with other involved actors. The student is able to give a broad-ranging assessment of his/her growth and can set development targets.
