Objective

The students:
Understand what factors form work-related well-being.
Understand the significance of work-related wellbeing in health promotion. Acknowledge the impact of an individual's wellbeing on the wellbeing of the work community and vice versa. Acknowledge the responsibility of both employer and himself in work-related health promotion.
Can assess the wellbeing of a work community and develops it. Can assess their own wellbeing and make a wellbeing development plan.

Content

Factors that have essential impact on work-related wellbeing; maintaining working capacity, work health care, labour protection: work conditions and safety, work communities and life development, work atmosphere, codetermination negotiations, rehabilitation, work and family.

5-4:The student has participated actively in online discussion and s/he has completed the learning assignments. In essay, the subject area has been widely covered and discussed in multi-faceted, critical manner, creating new ideas. Demonstrating that s/he masters the subject area and is able to form synthesis, the student has used different kinds of sources reasonably, also sources in foreign language, and his/her expertise and experience. In the essay, the student is able to show independent, critical and creative thinking, and his/her expertise of the field. The essay is creative, defined, logical, clear and follows the instructions for written assignments.
3: The student has participated actively in online discussion and s/he has completed the learning assignments. In essay, the subject area has been discussed according to the instructions and the point of view to the subject is wide. S/he is able to connect the subject with a wider context and uses well sources, his/her own expertise and experience. The essay is defined, logical, clear and follows the instructions for written assignments.
2-1: The student has participated in online discussion and completed the learning assignments. In the essay, the discussion of the subject area is narrow. The source material, own expertise and experiences have been discussed insufficiently, without criticism and separately from the phenomenon. The student masters the basic information of the course. The essay fulfills the formal requirements of the assignment and follows mainly the instructions for written assignments.
