Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The learning outcomes of a course will be assessed in accordance with its learning objectives on the basis of the skills and knowledge and general competences specified in the National and European Quality Management Systems (NQF/EQF, level 6).

1 (sufficient)
- The students can identify the meaning of reception and security services in the operations of a company and as a competitive factor.

2 (satisfactory)

- The students know the main laws and regulations governing the safety of business facilities.
- The students can formulate a service description for reception and security services.

3 (good)
In addition to the core competence required for grades 1 and 2, the students have a command of the skills listed below, and are also capable of making use of the skills learnt in a critical and innovative way.
- The studenst understand the meaning and roles of reception and security services to the operations of a company and as a competitive factor.
- The students understand the importance of international service culture to reception and security services.

4 (very good)
- The students understand the most common risks to business facilities and the means of protection against these risks.

5 (excellent)
In addition to the core competence required for grades 3 and 4, the students have a command of the skills listed below, and are also capable of making use of the skills learnt in a critical and innovative way.
- The students can evaluate and develop reception and security services as part of the operations of a company and as a competitive factor.
- The students can develop the risk management process of a company.
- The students can evaluate and realize reception and security service packages in accordance with international requirements.

Unless otherwise specified in the curriculum, successfully completed courses will be assessed using a five-point scale: 5 (excellent), 4 (very good), 3 (good), 2 (satisfactory) and 1 (sufficient). A course will be graded as a 0 (fail), if the student is unable to achieve the minimum objectives of the course. In special cases, a course may be graded as an S (pass) or a 0 (fail).
