Practical Training (15cr)

Objective

The students master the operations models typical of the field and practical working life skills, as well as being able to develop the tasks related to their own work.

Content

Before starting the practical training, the students take part in an orientation period with the following content:

Practical training process:
- the significance, objectives and practices of practical training
- making a practical training agreement and report
Job application process:
- application, CV, and contacting enterprises
- the experiences of students who have completed practical training
Recruitment process:
- job interview etc.
- the requirements of working life

In the practical training venue, the students perform tasks of their own professional field, defined in the practical training agreement. The students specify their learning objectives and attach them to the agreement.

The practical training duties support the implementation of the students’ personal study plans and serve the objectives of the degree programme.

Qualifications

About a hundred credits and a sufficient amount of professional studies need to be completed.
