Objective
The students are able to tell about their personal and educational background in German. They can handle job application situations and are able to work in the international work environment and tasks of companies of their field, communicating interactively both orally and in writing.
Content
Telling about one's education and personality; German and Finnish business culture, familiarisation with a company and its organisation. The operation and tasks of different departments, working hours and wages, job descriptions, the physical work environment, discussing attitudes to work. Job ads, CV and applications, job interviews, orientation in the company, IT terminology. Oral and written exercises, work in pairs.
Qualifications
Common European Framework of Reference, level A2/B1 (see the intranet / Language Centre).
