Objective

The student understands the business operations in banking and knows the basics needed to be able to work in the financing sector. The student can identify the preconditions of profitable banking activities and the strategic marketing mix for banking sector. The student is familiar with banks’ operational environment, banks’ products and banking activities.

Content

The course contents cover the banking and financial markets, banking laws and regulation, generally accepted banking principles, means and systems of payment, asset management and investment services, personal selling in banking sector and the finances and profitability of banks.
