Objective
The students are able to map a company's rights and duties and, based on this, pick up and examine ethically problematic practices. They are able to present ethically sustainable solution models for problems discovered. They understand the significance of interest groups and can take into account their requirements both in their own activities as representatives of the company and at the level of company practices. The students are able to adapt their own activities as parts of company operations to comply with the requirements set by environmental legislation. They understand the needs and rights of society as provider and regulator of the conditions for entrepreneurial activity.
Content
The relationship between society and companies. The basics of business ethics and the ethical dimensions of activities. Ethical theories suitable for business, and finding individual sustainable solutions to ethical problem situations. The significance of interest group management for continuity and success. Reporting on responsible business activity, the systems of responsible management.
