Objective
The students understand the sub-areas of modern personnel management and their significance for organizational management. They know how to promote the development of personnel resources in increasingly tense competition. They examine various juridical problems in employment from the perspective of personnel management and alternative solutions to them. They know how the normative system regulating employment controls the activities and decisions of personnel management. They are able to apply standards to practical situations from the point of view of personnel management, being able to assess various alternative solutions and potential need for expert help.

The strategic dimension of personnel management. The holistic system of personnel administration and management. Personnel management information systems. Personnel planning and organization. Motivation, commitment and inner entrepreneurial spirit of staff. Development of work community. Development discussions as part of competence management. Employment norms and their application.
