Objective
In this course, students will learn how to design and manage global sport tourism events in a sustainable manner, leaving positive legacies for all stakeholders and minimising any negative impact for host destinations.
Content
The course aims to address two of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, namely: To promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth (Goal 8) and to make cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable (Goal 11). This is presented in the context of tourism destinations and global sport events.

¿ Sustainable global destinations and sport events
¿ The co-creation role of stakeholders in sport event sustainability
¿ Digitalisation and solutions for sustainability
¿ Designing and managing sustainable sport events
¿ Planning and managing legacies from sport events
Qualifications
The course is aimed at students with a foundation knowledge in tourism, hospitality, sport or business studies.
