Basics of WWW services (5cr)

Objective

The student can create a www site and add common elements (such as text, images, tables, lists, frames and forms) to the pages. The student can publish the pages using a FTP application. The student can utilize the web for publishing information.

Content

Structure of the HTML language. Software for creating www pages (Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer). The JavaScript language. Basics of image manipulation. Presence in the net, especially from the view of the student's own area of study.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student's performance corresponds the learning outcomes
100-90 %: 5 (A Excellent)
89-80%: 4 (B Very good)
79-70%: 3 (C Good)
69-60%: 2 (D Satisfactory)
59-50%: 1 (E Sufficient)

Assessment is based on knowledge, skills and competence in accordance with the National and European Qualifications Framework, Level 6.The assessment criteria for individual courses are given in an annex to the implementation plan of the course.
