Information System Project (10cr)

Objective

The students perceive the building of an information system as an entity. They understand the key role of descriptions in the program development process. They learn the basics of project follow-up and control, and are able to act as members of a project group. They understand the influence of quality assurance on results.

Content

Teams of 3-4 students are formed and each of which build an information system on either chosen or given topic. Progress is tutored project-specifically and regularly (problem solving groups, tutoring group of each project, personal guidance in workshops)

Qualifications

Programming skills, knowledge of relational databases and simulation

Group grading:
Excellent (5)
Good (3-4)
Satisfactory (1-2)
