Dynamic Systems and Simulation (3cr)

Objective

The students are able to build models for physical systems and to implement process simulations with them. The simulation environment is SIMULINK(r) of the MATLAB(r) software (The MathWorks Inc.).

Content

The features of physical systems, simulation with modern modelling and simulation software. The students produce e.g. a simulation model of a laboratory flow process, whose behaviour and features can be compared with the operation of an authentic process.
