Control Technology (4cr)

Objective

The students are capable of making the analysis and tuning of control circuits so that a good practical result can be achieved regarding main quality variables and process runnability. They are able to design and tune process controls in cases of disturbance, delay or unlinearity and can also implement positive feedback controls and multivariable controls.

Content

The structures and features of control circuits with MATLB/SIMULINK modelling and simulation software. Central contents include the measurement and optimization of control performance. Theory is applied to practice in real processes in the laboratory.
