Multimedia Scriptwriting (3cr)

Objective

The students understand the basic structures of scripting, drama and multimedia communication. They master the data acquisition, conceptualisation and outlining of content for a multimedia application. They understand different structural models as parts of an application and can choose the correct multimedia elements (text, image, sound, video, animation). They are able to create the documents related to multimedia manuscripts.

Content

Basics of scriptwriting, its stages, technics, data acquisition, creation of ideas, structural models, media analysis (e.g. text, image, sound, video, animation), manuscript documents (synopsis, storyboard, design manuscript, production manuscript).
