Objective
The students are capable of guiding beginners and elementary level music institute students in their instrument over the long term. This also applies to ensembles. The students are familiar with the available teaching material and repertoire of each level and are able to evaluate the practical utility of new publications.
Content
Issues related to instrumental teaching. Lesson planning and implementation, long-term planning of teaching, evaluation and survey of available teaching material.
Qualifications
The students master typical situations and tasks related to basic instrumental teaching.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Tutoring teacher's grade, supported by guest examinators. Areas of evaluation are: general impression, musicianship, evaluative skills, interactive skills, work habit control, skills in individual guidance, skills in guidance of independent work, ability in long-term planning, the students' own growth and their students' development. The self-assesment of the students is part of the grade.
