Cultural Entrepreneurship (5cr)

Objective

The student has basic knowledge concerning entrepreneurship and different business operations as well as the special features of cultural entrepreneurship. She/he is aware of the economical structure of cultural sector and the position of culturally operating companies in the society. She/he is familiar with different forms of companies and knows how to start a company and which supporting organization turn to. She/he is aware of possibilities of employment and facts concerning freelance work. She/he can estimate her/his entrepreneurial qualities and create an orientation base for economical and business thinking.

Marketing in cultural business, management in SME companies, managing one’s own work
Estimating one’s entrepreneurial skills and qualities and creating a road-map to entrepreneurial activity

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Assessment is based on knowledge, skills and competence in accordance with the National and European Qualifications Framework, Level 6.

o ability to estimate existing entrepreneur skills and knowledge in context of the culture and set targets for individual career building
3-4 (4 B very good - 3 C good)
o good knowledge,

o ability to understand working principals of local cultural entrepreneurs and companies
o ability to estimate existing entrepreneurial skills and knowledge and set professional study targets and estimate personal career possibilities
1-2 (2 D satisfactory, 1 E sufficient)
o moderate knowledge,
o ability to solve unforeseeable problems,
o ability to estimate the existing entrepreneurial skills and knowledge and set professional targets within the study programme
