Recording Systems in Animal Production (3cr)

Objective

The students are aware of the significance of recording and counselling in the development of domestic animal production. They know central recording procedures and how to interpret reports.

Content

1. The history and present day of recording
2. Forms of recording and reports
- dairy and beef cattle, sheep and pigs
3. Familiarization with recording in farm conditions
- written report

Active participation, successful completion of assignments and exam (50% of course grade)
