Practical training, Nursing in Different Health Care Settings (6cr)

Objective

The students can plan, implement and evaluate nursing practice under supervision in different settings. They recognise patient/client care chains and understand the significance of multiprofessional cooperation in nursing. Assisted by professionals, the students are able to provide guidance to patients/clients and understand the role of close relatives in holistic care. The students can apply the principles of aseptics in various settings.

Content

Supervised practical training in the units of outpatient care, women's diseases (midwives), and perioperative nursing.

Successfully completed supervised practical training, participation in workshops
