Objective
The students individually realise evidence-based nursing in a multiprofessional work group. They use the knowledge base of medical surgical nursing when supporting the functional capacity and when promoting the health of an adult patient. They assess functional capacity using different instruments and critically examine the measuring methods and their results. They assess their own work critically and bring up development needs that come up from nursing practices and take initiatives to develop nursing. The students master the central service and nursing chains. They recognise the needs for the development of care and participate in the development of nursing.
Content
Decision-making in nursing and evidence-based knowledge in adult nursing. Applying the methods of functional capacity assessment and of health promotion.
Qualifications
The students master the skills that are in accordance with the guided practical training of nursing, level II, and they master the advanced medical surgical knowledge base.
