Advanced Expressive Methods (5cr)

Objective

The student understands the meaning of expressive methods in vocational growth, self experience, in human relations and life span. S/he is able to use expressive methods in psycho-social client work as interactive, therapeutic and communal methods.

Content

Advancing the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in expressive methods, materials and tools (the students can choose visual, musical and/or physical expression). The investigation and exemplifying of the personal creative process.

Qualifications

The student knows the empowering and communal meaning of creativity and self expression.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

A Excellent 5: The student has excellent theoretical competence in creative expressive methods. S/He shows great exceed in creative and innovative problem solving skills in the chosen expressive method. The student is critical and capable to develop his/her practical counseling skills in this method and client work.
B Very good 4: The student has large theoretical competence in creative expressive methods S/He shows clear exceed in creative problem solving and expressive skills in the chosen expressive method. The student is critical and capable to develop his/her practical counseling skills in this method and client work.
C Good 3: The student has good theoretical competence and understanding in creative expressive methods. S/He shows exceed in creative problem solving and expressive skills in the chosen expressive methods. The student is capable to develop his/her practical counseling skills in client work.
D Satisfactory 2, E Sufficient 1: The student is capable to organize and assess creative expressive activities in client work. (D2) S/He has advanced his/her basic skills in problem solving and expressive methods.(E1)
