Objective
The students develop their basic language skills in the context of nursing communication. They are able to handle interaction with clients using the expressions of nursing, master the key concepts of nursing, e.g. the terms related to instruments and illnesses, and the discussion related to care.
Content
Client work interaction vocabulary, nursing vocabulary. Oral and written exercises.
Qualifications
The students have elementary language skills for nursing situations. They master the basic structures of Finnish and everyday communication, and can use basic expressions for interaction with clients. They know the essential vocabulary of nursing, e.g. names of body parts and common illnesses.
