Nursing Finnish for Foreigners (3cr)

Objective

The students are able to write factual style Finnish and texts necessary in their profession. They develop their oral expression skills for nursing tasks and interaction.

Content

Drafting, editing and finishing common factual texts needed in studies and working life. Exercises in oral expression and interaction, oral presentations and reporting. The central vocabulary of the field.

Qualifications

The students should handle everyday situations in Finnish, understand ordinary texts, and produce simple texts in Finnish.
