Creative activities in Client Work (5cr)

Objective

The student is competent to develop his/her own creative expression. S/he understands the meaning of creative working methods in client work, interaction and education. S/he is able to motivate and apply creative methods with different clients, families and communities.

Content

Theoretical basics of creative methods in social services and health care. Methods of creative activities, body work and creative movement. Principles of creative councelling and education in client work.

Qualifications

The student knows the general and ethical basis of health- and social services.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

PASS
The student is competent to perform progression in her/his creative expression. S/he is able to explain and make interpretations of the meanings of creative activities in social and health care. The student is goal directive and client centered in her/his work as well as capable to assess and jusify her/his practical skills in client work. S/he innovates new ways of working in a peer group as well as in client work or in communities.
