Students will understand the overall concept of logistics and supply chain. Students will also learn the basics of the planning and the management of the supply chain. The differnet activities of logistics will be known.

Introduction to concepts of supply chain management and logistics. Supply chain planning and management including
- Logistics strategy
- Resource planning
- Material flow control
- Performance measurement.
Supply chain activities like
- Procurement
- Inventory Management
- Warehousing and materials handling
- Transport.
