Objective
The students understand and can apply different analyses to supportability issues. They are able to relate a specific analysis to a given problem field, and also understand how different analyses are related with each other. They can solve supportability problems with these tools.
Content
Review of supportability issues. Creating user and operational requirements. Supportability analyses, incl. reliability analysis, failure tree analysis (FTA), review in FMECA and RCM, LORA (level of repair analysis), maintenance task analysis (MTA) and review in Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA), spares modelling. Standardization and tailoring of the process.
Qualifications
System Engineering and Life Cycle Management.

The course will be assessed based on the exam and exercises. The assessment methods and criteria will be specified at the beginning of the course.
