Bachelor´s Thesis (15cr)

Objective

The students can apply acquired knowledge and skills to a practical expert task related to their professional studies. They can work independently and focussedly, demonstrating a critical approach, creativity and problem-solving skills.
EA-IV EUR-ACE Investigations: Student is able to conduct searches of literature and to use databases and other sources of information. Students are able to conduct appropriate experiments, interpret the data and draw conclusions.
EA-ER EUR-ACE Engineering practice and YHTTY Working life: Student is able to select and use appropriate equipments, tools and methods and able to combine theory and practice to solve engineering problems.
YHTVI Communication Skills: Student is able to report professionally both written and spoken.

Content

The bachelor’s thesis includes project work, research, advanced problem solving, and reporting.

Qualifications

At least 150 ECTS credits must be done. It is recommended that the course ”Research Methods” is passed before starting of the Thesis Work.
