Objective
The students understand the basics of networks and supply chain management. They know both benefits and problems in network management. They understand the importance of networks and supply chain management. They are able to calculate basic economic benefits in networking.
Content
Definitions of networking. Management of networks and supply chains. Benefits in networking. Cases.
Qualifications
The students understand the basic functions of companies and connections between them.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Very good (4-5): The student masters the essential knowledge and skills required to get the grade Good (3) and can apply the knowledge acquired in a critical and innovative manner to practical work.
Good (3): The student masters the essential knowledge and skills:
- can analyze and create justified proposals for developing the networks and delivery chains.
Satisfactory (1-2): The student is familiar with the basic knowledge and terminology related to networking and delivery chain management e.g. the reasons for utilizing them, the advantages and disadvantages of cooperation, the strategic management /leadership issues, the mechanisms providing benefits, etc.
Assessment is based on the assignments.
