Objective
The students understand the central models of thinking included in the concept of logistics, they know the main features of logistical functions and their connection with business management, and they know the significance of logistics from the points of view of entrepreneurship and national economy. The students can think profoundly about the planning and management of modern logistical processes.
Content
The concept of logistics and enterprise’s logistical systems, acquisition, storage and terminal functions, transportation, production management, materials handling systems and devices, telematics of logistics, environmental logistics and environmental systems, customer service in logistics, logistics management and quality systems, the basics of the most important regulations of transportation and company visits. Assignment is an analysis of a logistical process. In addition, the theory part of the fork-lift course.
